Urgent WordPress Support,
most fixes in under an hour.

When your site goes down you need urgent WordPress support, not a ticket number. White screens, failed checkouts, plugin conflicts, malware and database errors: tell us what is wrong and an engineer starts on it within minutes, whatever time it is where you are.

  • One-off job, £49
  • No plan, no lock-in
  • If we cannot fix it, you pay nothing

How urgent WordPress support works.

Four steps, and only the first one needs anything from you.

  1. Tell us what is wrong

Raise a job through live chat or give us a call. Describe the problem in plain terms, no technical write-up needed.

    • Live chat, phone or the order form, whichever is quickest at the time
    • "It looks broken" is a perfectly good starting point, and often the honest one
    • A screenshot helps but is not required, and neither is knowing what caused it
    • Nothing is billed until we have told you what is wrong and what it takes to fix
  2. An engineer starts

You are assigned an engineer within minutes, not queued behind a ticket backlog. Diagnosis begins straight away.

    • One named engineer takes the job, rather than it sitting in a shared queue
    • Read-only access first where possible, so nothing changes before we understand it
    • Error logs, recent updates and file changes checked before anything is touched
    • A full backup taken before the first fix, so the position can always be restored
  3. We keep you posted

Track progress in the client portal, see open and completed jobs, and talk to the engineer working on your site.

    • A plain answer on what broke and why, without being asked twice for it
    • Open and completed jobs visible in the client portal at any time
    • You talk to the engineer doing the work, not an account manager relaying it
    • If the job turns out to be bigger than a one-off fix, you hear that before we continue
  4. We keep watching

Once it is fixed we do not disappear. The site stays monitored and backed up so the same fault does not return.

    • The fix verified on the live site, not just on our screen
    • Related pages, forms and checkout tested in case the fault reached further than it looked
    • Uptime monitoring kept on the site so a repeat is caught before you notice it
    • If the same fault comes back, we return to it rather than starting a new invoice

Urgent WordPress support, get it fixed now.

Pay for the one job, or put the site on a plan so it stops happening. Both start the moment you order.

Talk to us first

The WordPress problems we fix most often.

If yours is not on this list, it is almost certainly still something we have seen before. Across more than 5,000 sites most faults turn out to be a pattern rather than a mystery, so describe what is happening and we will tell you quickly whether it is a ten minute job or something deeper.

  • White screen of death

The site loads to nothing at all. Usually a fatal PHP error or a memory limit, and usually quick to trace once you know where to look.

  • Plugin and theme conflicts

An update broke something. We find which plugin, roll it back safely and get you working again before deciding on a permanent fix.

  • WooCommerce and checkout failures

Orders failing, payment gateways rejecting, carts emptying. The problems that cost money every hour they stay broken.

  • Hacked sites and malware

Infections removed, backdoors closed and your site cleared with Google and the browsers, then hardened against a repeat.

  • Database connection errors

Error establishing a database connection, corrupted tables and failed migrations, repaired without losing your content.

  • Sudden slowdowns

A site that was fine last week and crawls today. We find the cause rather than throwing a caching plugin at it.

  • 500 internal server error

The server gives up before the page renders. Usually a corrupt .htaccess, a PHP fatal or a plugin exhausting resources.

  • Too many redirects

The browser bounces between two URLs and gives up. Nearly always a mismatch between your site URL, SSL settings and a caching layer.

  • Locked out of wp-admin

Password resets that never arrive, a lost admin account, or a security plugin that has blocked your own IP address.

  • Stuck in maintenance mode

An update failed part way through and left the .maintenance file behind, so every visitor sees "briefly unavailable".

  • Images will not upload

The dreaded "HTTP error" in the media library. Normally file permissions, a memory ceiling or an image library the host has not configured.

  • Emails not being delivered

Contact forms and WooCommerce order confirmations vanishing. Almost always a sending reputation problem rather than a WordPress one.

  • "Not secure" warnings

An expired certificate, or mixed content where assets still load over http and the browser flags the whole page as unsafe.

  • Memory limit exhausted

"Allowed memory size exhausted" on the front end or in the dashboard. A limit that needs raising, or a plugin that needs replacing.

  • Layout broken after an update

Stylesheets failing to load, blocks rendering as plain text, or a theme update overwriting changes made directly to theme files.

  • Scheduled posts missing

WP-Cron not firing, so scheduled posts never publish, backups never run and subscription renewals quietly stop processing.

The team

Who picks up when you raise a job.

Every engineer who touches your site works directly for SiteAim. Nothing is passed to a contractor, so the person diagnosing your problem is the person answerable for it.

The team runs across several time zones, which is what makes the round the clock cover real rather than a line on a website.

  • Nothing outsourced

Every engineer is on our payroll, never a marketplace contractor.

  • Senior specialists

Complex jobs escalate to a senior WordPress engineer.

  • Works with your developer

We sit alongside your existing designer or dev, not around them.

  • Credentials protected

Logins encrypted, used only while a job is open, revocable after.

After the fix

A one-off fix, or someone watching from then on.

Plenty of people come to us for urgent WordPress support with one broken thing, we fix it, and that is the end of it. That is a perfectly good outcome and there is no plan to sign up to.

If the same site keeps breaking though, that is usually a sign the underlying maintenance is not happening. Our care plans cover the updates, backups and monitoring that stop most of these jobs existing in the first place, from £35 a month.

Stopping it happening again

Why the same sites keep breaking.

Most of the urgent WordPress support jobs we take on are not bad luck. They come from the same five causes, and every one of them is preventable with the right maintenance behind the site.

Fixing what is broken today is the easy part. Keeping it working is what our WordPress maintenance plans are for: updates tested on staging, daily backups, security hardening and monitoring that watches the site so you do not have to.

See WordPress maintenance plans
  1. Themes nobody has touched in years

An abandoned or heavily modified theme stops receiving security patches, and every core release makes a break more likely.

  2. Plugins doing too much

A typical site runs plugins written by a dozen different authors. One that has been abandoned is enough to take down a checkout.

  3. Updates left undone

Putting updates off does not avoid the risk, it stacks it. The longer the gap, the more likely something breaks when they finally run.

  4. Weak security

No firewall, reused passwords, an outdated PHP version. Most hacked sites we clean up were never targeted, they were simply easy.

  5. Nobody watching

Without monitoring, the first person to notice your site is down is usually a customer, and usually several hours later.

Urgent WordPress support questions, answered.

Ask us anything
How soon can you fix my site?

Most issues are resolved within the hour. You are assigned an engineer within minutes of raising the job, whatever time it is.

What does it cost?

A one-off fix is £49. If it turns out the site needs ongoing care rather than a single repair, we will tell you rather than quietly billing you again next month.

Can you provide ongoing support afterwards?

Yes. Our care plans cover updates, backups, monitoring and unlimited support from £35 a month, and you can move onto one at any point.

Is my site data safe with you?

Login details are encrypted and only accessible while an engineer is working on your task. You can see who accessed them and delete them once the job is done.

Do you outsource the work?

No. Every engineer works directly for SiteAim. Our team is spread across time zones, which is how the cover runs around the clock.

Can you work with my existing developer?

Yes, and it is common. We work alongside your designers and developers rather than around them, as an extension of your team.

Every hour it stays broken costs you.
